The Ministry of Works, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Traffic of the Ministry of the Interior, has announced a series of road closures to facilitate improvement and resurfacing projects in Bahrain. Janabiya Highway at its intersection with Avenue 35 will be closed from 1am today until 5am on Sunday, 26 May. This closure is essential for carrying out improvement works on Janabiya Highway, with traffic being redirected to surrounding roads during this period. Additionally, the junction of Nasser Bin Jaber Al Jaber Avenue with Road 4650 in the Seef area will undergo resurfacing works in its second stage, leading to a closure from Sunday, 26 May, until Thursday, 5 June.

The road closures are part of the ongoing efforts by the Bahraini government to enhance the infrastructure and road network in the country. By carrying out improvement and resurfacing projects, the Ministry of Works aims to ensure the safety and efficiency of the roadways for motorists and pedestrians alike. These projects are crucial in maintaining the quality of the roads and preventing any potential hazards or risks to road users. The cooperation between the Ministry of Works and the General Directorate of Traffic indicates a coordinated approach to infrastructure development in Bahrain.

Motorists in the affected areas are advised to plan their routes accordingly and follow the diversion signs and instructions provided by the authorities. To minimize disruptions and ensure smooth traffic flow, it is essential for drivers to adhere to the temporary road closures and cooperate with the road construction crews. By exercising caution and patience during the construction period, motorists can contribute to the timely completion of the improvement works and the overall safety of the road network.

The closure of Janabiya Highway at its junction with Avenue 35 and the resurfacing works at the junction of Nasser Bin Jaber Al Jaber Avenue with Road 4650 in the Seef area are part of a larger strategy to modernize and enhance Bahrain’s infrastructure. These projects reflect the government’s commitment to providing a safe and efficient transportation system for its citizens and visitors. By investing in the maintenance and improvement of the road network, Bahrain aims to foster economic growth, enhance connectivity, and promote sustainable development across the country.

As part of the road improvement projects, the Ministry of Works and the General Directorate of Traffic will continue to collaborate on future initiatives to upgrade the infrastructure in Bahrain. These efforts are crucial in meeting the growing demands of a modern society and ensuring that the road network can accommodate the increasing volume of traffic. By implementing strategic road closures and resurfacing works, the government aims to address infrastructure challenges proactively and improve the overall quality of the transportation system in Bahrain.

In conclusion, the road closures announced by the Ministry of Works and the General Directorate of Traffic in Bahrain are aimed at facilitating improvement and resurfacing projects to enhance the country’s infrastructure. These initiatives are part of a larger strategy to create a safe and efficient road network for motorists and pedestrians. By adhering to the temporary closures and following the instructions provided by the authorities, motorists can contribute to the successful completion of the projects and help maintain the quality of the roadways in Bahrain. Through continued collaboration and investment in infrastructure development, Bahrain is poised to meet the challenges of a modern transportation system and support the growth and development of the country.
