Qatar and Norway discuss collaboration in the development sector

The Minister of State for International Cooperation, H E Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater, recently met with the Minister for International Development of Norway, H E Anne Beathe Tvinnereim, in Oslo to discuss relations and cooperation between the two countries, with a focus on development. The meeting also addressed recent developments in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, and Afghanistan. During the meeting, the Minister of State for International Cooperation expressed Qatar’s appreciation for Norway’s recognition of the State of Palestine, viewing it as a significant step towards achieving peace in the region. The Ambassador of Qatar to Sweden, H E Nadya bint Ahmad Al Sheebi, was also present at the meeting.

The meeting between H E Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater and H E Anne Beathe Tvinnereim highlighted the importance of cooperation between Qatar and Norway in the development field.
