Lulu Group, a major retail player, has recently expanded its presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the opening of a new hypermarket in Khamis Mushait, Asir Province. The hypermarket, located in the Mujan Park Mall, covers an area of 71,000 square feet and offers a wide range of shopping options that have made LuLu a popular choice among consumers in Saudi Arabia. The inauguration of the hypermarket was attended by Khalid bin Abd Alaziz bin Mushayt, Governor of Khamis Mushait, Yusuf Ali MA, Chairman of Lulu Group, and other notable dignitaries.

Yusuff Ali, Chairman of Lulu Group, expressed his gratitude to Saudi shoppers for their support and recognition of LuLu’s commitment to delivering quality, affordability, and variety. He highlighted that LuLu has always focused on serving customers in both city centers and outskirt areas, making shopping convenient for residents across different locations. The company has also prioritized providing local employment opportunities through structured recruitment processes and training programs for the workforce.

In line with its expansion plans, LuLu Group aims to open 17 new hypermarkets in Saudi Arabia, which will further contribute to local employment opportunities for the youth. The growth of LuLu Hypermarkets in the Kingdom reflects the Group’s dedication to supporting the Saudi leadership’s vision for a prosperous future. The success of LuLu in Saudi Arabia has been made possible by the support of stakeholders, customers, and management who have played a key role in establishing a network of stores based on excellence and quality service.

The new hypermarket at Mujan Park Mall features a well-stocked supermarket, hot foods section, bakery, electronics store (LuLu Connect), and a fashion store, catering to the diverse needs of shoppers. The store layout has been designed with customer convenience in mind, offering amenities such as 1,100 parking slots, cashier checkouts, self-checkouts, and green checkout counters to promote eco-friendly practices. LuLu also focuses on promoting healthy food choices, offering a variety of ‘Free From’ foods, pet foods, seafood, premium meats, and imported products to enhance the shopping experience for customers.

With an emphasis on sustainable development strategies, LuLu Group remains committed to supporting Saudi Arabia’s overall growth and development. The company’s dedication to providing high-quality products and services, as well as creating employment opportunities for the local workforce, aligns with the country’s vision for a prosperous future.
