Minister of Transport H E Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti and Director-General and CEO of the Airports Council International (ACI World) H E Luis Felipe de Oliveira recently met at the Future Aviation Forum in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. During their meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen Qatar-ACI World relations and enhance bilateral cooperation in the aviation industry. One of the key areas of focus was on sustainability, ensuring that airports operate with the best universal technology systems. Additionally, they talked about global standards and requirements for operating airports, as well as the latest developments in civil aviation worldwide.

The meeting highlighted the importance of collaboration between Qatar and ACI World to continue improving the aviation industry. By working together, they can address challenges and find innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of airports. This partnership will benefit both parties, as well as the global aviation community, by promoting best practices and standards in airport operations.

One of the key topics discussed during the meeting was sustainability in the aviation industry. As the demand for air travel continues to grow, it is essential to ensure that airports operate in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner. By adopting the best technology systems and implementing global standards, airports can reduce their carbon footprint and minimize their impact on the environment. This commitment to sustainability will not only benefit the environment but also contribute to the long-term success and growth of the aviation industry.

Another important aspect of the discussion was the need for airports to meet global standards and requirements. By adhering to these standards, airports can ensure that they are operating safely and efficiently, while also providing a high level of service to passengers. This includes implementing the latest technology systems and following best practices in airport management. By staying up to date with global developments in civil aviation, airports can continue to improve their operations and provide a seamless travel experience for passengers.

Overall, the meeting between Minister Al Sulaiti and Director-General Oliveira was a positive step towards strengthening Qatar-ACI World relations and enhancing bilateral cooperation in the aviation industry. By focusing on sustainability, global standards, and the latest developments in civil aviation, they are working towards a more efficient and environmentally friendly future for airports. This collaboration will benefit Qatar, ACI World, and the global aviation community, as they continue to strive for excellence in airport operations and passenger experience.
