The Sultanate of Oman has recently achieved significant success at the International Invention, Innovation, and Technology Exhibition in Malaysia (24 ITEX). Tasnim Muhammad Al-Daoudia won the gold medal for her innovative project “Dilution of Heavy Oil Using Hydrogen Injection Technology” in the field of energy, while Iman Abdullah Bait Ubaidoun won first place and a gold medal for his project “Water Treatment Using the Electrochemical Method.” Additionally, Mazen bin Rashid Al Badi received second place and a silver medal for his innovation “Dr. Robot.”
The Dohat Al-Adab School team from Muscat Governorate Education also made the Sultanate proud by winning first place and a gold medal in the field of information technology for their project “Using hybrid artificial technology for early detection of liver cirrhosis.” The team also received awards from various organizations such as the Invention and Innovation Center in Indonesia, the Citizen Innovation Center in Singapore, and others.
Furthermore, the Souda Umm al-Mu’minin School team from Al-Dhahirah Governorate’s educational team secured second place and a silver medal in the environmental field for their project “Green Chemistry for Secondary Iron Manufacturing.” This showcases the dedication and talent of Omani youth in the field of innovation and technology.
The International Invention, Innovation, and Technology Exhibition is an annual event that serves as a platform for showcasing innovative technical ideas and projects in the science and technology industry.
