The Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia has recently launched several new online services on the Absher platform to make reporting minor accidents and other incidents easier for residents. The Public Security Director, Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Bassami, introduced these services at a ceremony in Riyadh attended by Minister of the Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif. Among the services now available online are the transfer of vehicle ownership, individual auction services, reporting financial fraud on bank cards, extending deadlines for traffic violation payments, and more. These services are part of the Ministry’s efforts to digitize and automate processes, making it more convenient for citizens, expatriates, and visitors to complete transactions efficiently.

The launch of these new online services is a significant step in the Ministry of Interior’s digital transformation journey and Public Security’s efforts to streamline and automate services for the public. By partnering with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and the National Information Center, the Ministry aims to provide citizens with easy access to electronic services and digital solutions that save time and effort. Through these partnerships, the Ministry is able to leverage technology to enhance the overall experience of residents and visitors, making procedures smooth and hassle-free.

One of the key services introduced on the Absher platform is the ability to report minor accidents online. This allows individuals to easily register and report accidents without the need to visit a police station in person. By providing this service online, the Ministry of Interior aims to improve the efficiency of accident reporting and streamline the process for both citizens and law enforcement officials. This digital solution is just one example of how the Ministry is leveraging technology to enhance public services and make them more accessible and user-friendly.

In addition to the accident reporting service, the Ministry of Interior has also introduced several other online services aimed at simplifying various procedures for residents. From transferring vehicle ownership to reporting incidents of financial fraud on bank cards, these services cover a wide range of needs and aim to make transactions easier and more convenient for individuals. By offering these services online, the Ministry hopes to reduce the time and effort required to complete various processes, ultimately improving the overall experience for residents and visitors in Saudi Arabia.

Through strategic partnerships with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and the National Information Center, the Ministry of Interior is able to leverage cutting-edge technology to enhance the delivery of public services. By digitizing and automating processes, the Ministry aims to provide citizens with efficient and user-friendly solutions that save time and effort. These partnerships play a crucial role in enabling the Ministry to offer a wide range of online services that cater to the diverse needs of residents, expatriates, and visitors, ultimately enhancing the overall quality of service delivery in Saudi Arabia.

The launch of these new online services on the Absher platform marks a significant milestone in the Ministry of Interior’s digital transformation journey. By introducing convenient and user-friendly services that leverage technology, the Ministry is able to enhance the overall experience of residents and visitors in Saudi Arabia. Through strategic partnerships and a commitment to innovation, the Ministry is paving the way for a more modern and efficient public service delivery system that meets the needs of a diverse and dynamic population. As the Ministry continues to focus on digitization and automation, residents can expect to see more online services and solutions that make their lives easier and more convenient.
