The UAE’s announcement of the ‘Blue Residency’ program has sparked excitement among residents passionate about environmental advocacy. The 10-year visa offers a unique opportunity for individuals dedicated to sustainability and environmental stewardship. Residents who have been actively advocating for sustainable practices in the UAE are enthusiastic about the program.

Hazem Qawasmeh, a Jordanian expat and senior advisor at the Environment Agency, sees the ‘Blue Residency’ visa as a significant personal achievement. He believes that it would recognize his efforts in environmental protection and reinforce his commitment to sustainability. The visa would allow him to continue contributing to Abu Dhabi’s environmental goals and be part of the emirate’s journey towards net zero by 2050.

Zoltan Rendes, a Hungarian environmentalist, is excited about the Blue Residency initiative. He sees it as an excellent opportunity to further his environmental advocacy and make a positive impact on a global scale. Zoltan emphasizes the importance of communities and individuals in addressing climate change, stating that small steps and gradual changes can make a significant difference.

Youshey Zakiuddin, a Dubai resident, is also thrilled about the Blue Residency program. He believes that the UAE’s focus on sustainability and rewarding individuals for positive actions will benefit the country in the long run. Youshey recently released a children’s book on climate change, highlighting the importance of sustainability to young minds.

Joseph Manoj Chittilappilly, a 15-year-old member of Emirates Environmental Group, expressed joy upon hearing about the Blue Residency program. He has been actively involved in recycling campaigns since the age of 11 and sees the visa as an acknowledgment of his efforts. Joseph emphasizes the need for global coordination in addressing environmental challenges.

Families in the UAE who embrace environmentally friendly practices are also excited about the Blue Residency program. They actively engage in various environmental initiatives, such as recycling drives and clean-up campaigns. One Indian expat, Iram Rizvi, has incorporated sustainability into the lives of her children, who have received recognition for their environmental initiatives. Mishal and Mir Faraz, aged 17 and 13 respectively, have been honored for their commitment to environmental protection.
