The tenth edition of the “Nusuk” exhibition for pilgrims has been inaugurated in Muscat on May 14, 2024. Organized by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, the exhibition aims to educate pilgrims about the rituals of Hajj and provide information about the tasks of the Omani Hajj delegation. The exhibition will run for five days and is expected to attract over 14,000 visitors this year. It will be open twice a day, in the morning and evening, and will focus on teaching pilgrims about safety and disease prevention measures.

The “Nusuk” exhibition consists of six pillars, including pre-rite pillar, Ihram, Hajj rituals, fatwa, health and society, and the Hajj mission. It also features activities to introduce pilgrims to the rituals of Hajj from religious and psychological perspectives. The exhibition will also include sessions for non-Arabic speakers and visual episodes and courses. The goal is to provide pilgrims with a comprehensive understanding of the Hajj pilgrimage and ensure that they are well-prepared for the journey.

The opening of the “Nusuk” exhibition was sponsored by Fatima bint Muhammad Baqir Al-Ajami, CEO of the Omani Medical Specialty Board. The event was attended by specialists from the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, who are dedicated to promoting knowledge of the Hajj and its rituals. The ministry aims to expand the “Nusuk” activity to all governorates of Oman to increase awareness and understanding of the pilgrimage among the local community.

The “Nusuk” exhibition for pilgrims is a significant initiative by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs to educate and guide individuals planning to undertake the Hajj pilgrimage.
