The committee to prepare the Kingdom was led by His Excellency Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, to ensure the success of the Arab Summit. The roads, streets, and landmarks in Bahrain have been decorated with flags of sister Arab countries and pictures of their leaders to welcome the delegates and showcase Arab unity and solidarity.
Bahrain has broad support in the Arab world to host the Summit, given its approach based on peace, stability, and promotion of cooperation. The country’s foreign policy is characterized by balance and rationality, making it the most suitable host for the Arab Summit. His Majesty the King has championed the spirit of unity and solidarity in his speeches at Arab Summits, highlighting the need for Arab nations to support each other as a single entity to face the challenges in the region. His Majesty has set priorities for the Arab world, emphasizing the importance of establishing peace, stability, and bilateral cooperation to enable joint Arab action with free will and self-determination.
