The General Directorate of Public Security in Saudi Arabia has issued a warning to citizens and residents to be cautious of fraudulent advertisements on social media related to Hajj. These deceptive ads falsely offer services such as performing rituals on behalf of others, securing and distributing Adahi (sacrificial offerings), selling Hajj bracelets, and providing transportation. The directorate has warned that strict penalties will be enforced on anyone caught engaging in these fraudulent activities.

It has been clarified that the Project for Utilization of Hady and Adahi is the sole official entity authorized to sell and promote Adahi bonds. These bonds can be safely purchased through the project’s official website, the Ehsan National Platform for Charitable Work, or by calling the unified number 920020193. The public is urged to adhere closely to official Hajj regulations and guidelines and report any suspicious activities or violations to the authorities.

Public Security has provided contact information for reporting suspicious activities, including calling (911) in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region, or (999) in all other regions across the Kingdom. It is important for citizens and residents to be vigilant and report any fraudulent activities related to Hajj to ensure the safety and security of all pilgrims.

In light of the cautionary notice issued by the General Directorate of Public Security, it is crucial for individuals to be extra cautious when engaging with advertisements on social media related to Hajj services. By following official regulations and guidelines and reporting any suspicious activities, the public can help prevent fraudulent practices and protect the integrity of the Hajj pilgrimage.

The warning from the Public Security directorate serves as a reminder to the public to be aware of potential scams and fraudulent activities that may occur during the Hajj season. By only engaging with official entities authorized to sell and promote Hajj-related services, individuals can ensure their safety and the authenticity of the services they receive.

In conclusion, it is important for citizens and residents in Saudi Arabia to remain vigilant and report any fraudulent advertisements related to Hajj services on social media. By following official guidelines and reporting any suspicious activities to the authorities, individuals can contribute to a safe and secure Hajj pilgrimage for all participants. The General Directorate of Public Security’s cautionary notice emphasizes the importance of adhering to official regulations and guidelines to prevent fraudulent practices and protect the integrity of the Hajj pilgrimage.
