Qatar Foundation recently celebrated the achievements of over 950 graduates, marking a significant milestone as the total number of QF alumni surpassed the 10,000 mark. The annual convocation ceremony, attended by HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser and various dignitaries, highlighted the accomplishments of students from 77 nationalities, with a significant number of female graduates. These students, who are part of QF’s unique education ecosystem, were recognized for their academic success and leadership qualities, setting them up to make meaningful contributions to society.

During the ceremony, 16 graduates were honored with QF Excellence Awards, acknowledging their exceptional academic achievements and potential to positively impact society. The event also featured a keynote speech by Kuwaiti entrepreneur Ahmad Marafi, encouraging graduates to embrace challenges and create their own success stories. A specially created piece of music and a Convocation film added to the celebration, reflecting the graduates’ journey at QF and emphasizing the importance of social responsibility and solidarity with the people of Gaza and Palestine.

The Class of 2024, specializing in various fields such as medicine, engineering, art and design, and international affairs, among others, now joins QF’s global network of alumni. These graduates have not only acquired knowledge and skills in their respective fields but have also been instilled with values of integrity, social responsibility, and global citizenship during their time at QF. Emphasizing the importance of preparing students for ethical leadership and moral commitment, QF aims to empower graduates to become compassionate and actively involved members of society, ready to tackle the challenges of tomorrow with confidence and integrity.

As QF continues to offer unparalleled opportunities for intellectual growth, global perspectives, and local engagement through its partnership with top-tier universities, the graduating class of 2024 is poised to become shapers of a better world and a brighter tomorrow. With a focus on holistic education and instilling strong values in students, QF aims to equip graduates not only for personal success but also for their roles as responsible global citizens. By emphasizing the need for ethical leadership in today’s complex global landscape, QF is dedicated to preparing students to make a positive impact on society and contribute to a more just and equitable world.
