A delegation from the Sudanese Ministry of Interior recently visited the General Directorate of Passports in Doha to exchange experiences and enhance cooperation in passport work. The delegation was familiarized with the advanced systems and technologies used in the General Directorate, emphasizing the importance of such visits for sharing knowledge and understanding the passport work in Qatar. This visit aimed to strengthen communication between the Sudanese and Qatari authorities, with Assistant Director General for Financial Affairs of the Sudanese Police Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Moneim Mohamed Abdel Gayoum, highlighting the support provided by the General Directorate of Passports in Qatar to Sudanese police.

During the visit, the delegation had the opportunity to tour the Nationality and Travel Documents Department to gain insight into the process of issuing Qatari passports. This hands-on experience allowed them to understand the mechanism behind passport issuance in Qatar. The visit was part of ongoing efforts to enhance coordination and cooperation between the two countries in the field of passports and travel documentation. By fostering such collaboration, both countries can benefit from shared knowledge and best practices in passport work. This exchange of experiences will ultimately contribute to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of passport services in both Sudan and Qatar.

Lieutenant General Abdel Moneim Mohamed Abdel Gayoum expressed gratitude for the support extended by the General Directorate of Passports in Qatar to Sudanese police, underscoring the importance of continued cooperation between the two countries. By working together and learning from each other, both nations can improve their passport systems and provide better services to their citizens. The visit underscored the commitment of both parties to enhancing their capabilities in passport work through mutual cooperation and exchange of experiences. Such partnerships are essential for promoting efficiency and professionalism in passport issuance and travel documentation services.

Director General of Passports, Major General Mohamed Ahmed Al Atiq Al Dosari highlighted the significance of field visits like this for exchanging experiences and insights in passport work. By learning about the advanced technologies and systems used in the General Directorate of Passports in Qatar, the Sudanese delegation gained valuable knowledge that can be applied in their own passport services. This visit not only served as a platform for sharing best practices but also strengthened the bonds between the Sudanese and Qatari authorities. Through such collaborative efforts, both countries can improve their passport systems and enhance the quality of services provided to their populations.

The inspection tour of the Nationality and Travel Documents Department allowed the Sudanese delegation to observe firsthand the processes involved in issuing Qatari passports. This practical experience will enable them to better understand the requirements and procedures for passport issuance, leading to improved efficiency and accuracy in their own passport services. The visit laid the foundation for future cooperation and coordination between the two countries in the field of passports, setting the stage for continued collaboration and knowledge sharing. By leveraging each other’s strengths and experiences, Sudan and Qatar can work together to enhance their passport systems and provide better services to their citizens.
