Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain, recently visited the site of the second phase of the Avenues Mall expansion project. During his visit, Shaikh Khalid highlighted the rapid growth of investment activities in major projects by the private sector, showcasing the attractive competitive environment of the kingdom. Waleed Al Sharian, the Chief Executive Officer at Mabanee Company, provided Shaikh Khalid with a detailed briefing on the components of the project’s second phase and its facilities, which are designed with modern and diverse architectural concepts. The progress rate of completion for this phase has reached 75%, indicating the project’s advancement. Shaikh Khalid mentioned that the expansion of the Avenues Mall will have a positive impact on the commercial and tourism sectors in the kingdom, creating more job opportunities for citizens and meeting the needs of its visitors, ultimately benefiting the national economy.
Shaikh Khalid emphasized that the Avenues Mall project represents a successful investment of municipal resources in the long term and a successful partnership between the public and private sectors.
