Investing in property in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah can provide a return on investment (ROI) of 16 to 20 percent, according to Rahul Kumar Gupta, chairman of Aark Developers. This ROI is among the highest in the world, and Gupta believes it will continue to grow with the development of a gaming resort and limited available space in the region. Aark Developers recently launched its latest project, Sora Beach Residences, a Dh4 billion project located in Al Marjan Island. Abdulla Al Abdouli, CEO of Marjan, expressed confidence that the project will enhance the appeal of Al Marjan Island and contribute to Ras Al Khaimah’s reputation as a rapidly growing investment and lifestyle destination.
Sora Beach Residences will be the first highrise property in Al Marjan Island, standing at 18 floors tall with unobstructed sea views from every residence. It will also feature the largest beachfront on the island. The architectural design of the property is being handled by Nikken Sekkei, a renowned Japanese architectural firm known for its work on iconic landmarks in Asia, the Middle East, and the recent One Zabeel development in Dubai. Fadi Jabri, CEO of Nikken Sekkei FZ Dubai, described the design elements of Sora Beach Residences, highlighting features such as magnificent halls, splendid facades, and a grand lobby atrium with a striking 140-foot high arch.
The focus of the Sora Beach Residences project is on family tourism, with a significant portion of the property designated for rentals. Gupta revealed that 20 percent of the space has been reserved for Airbnb bookings, catering to the growing trend of short-term rentals in the region. The project is scheduled for completion by the fourth quarter of 2026, offering investors an opportunity to capitalize on the strong ROI potential of real estate in Ras Al Khaimah. With its unique architectural design, prime location, and emphasis on family-friendly amenities, Sora Beach Residences is positioned to attract both investors and tenants seeking premium waterfront living in the emirate.
