Ministry of Interior conducts tram track obstacle simulation in Msheireb

The simulation exercise aimed to enhance response preparedness and coordination among various entities responsible for ensuring the security of Qatar’s public transportation system. Lieutenant Nasser Abdullah Al Shammari highlighted the importance of conducting such exercises regularly to test readiness and identify areas for improvement in securing the railways.

The participating entities in the simulation exercise included the General Directorate of Civil Defense, the General Directorate of Traffic, the Capital Security Management, the Emergency Police Department, the Central Operations Management, the Ambulance Service of Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar Rail, and RKH Company, the operator of Doha Metro. This collaboration among multiple agencies is essential for effective emergency response and ensuring the safety of public transportation users.

By simulating an obstacle on the tram track in Msheireb city, the exercise provided a realistic scenario for the participating entities to test their response capabilities.
