The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF) is currently ongoing, offering visitors a variety of freebies, including tickets to cultural landmarks in the Capital. The fair, which features 1,350 exhibitors from 90 countries, is a hub for book enthusiasts and industry professionals alike. To attend the fair, visitors must register on the official website and receive complimentary access to Qasr Al Hosn and Louvre Abu Dhabi until May 12.

In addition to free cultural landmark tickets, fair-goers can enjoy exclusive book subscription discounts and offers from publishing partners. Initiatives like the special rates on platforms such as Rufoof, Storytel, and Iqraaly aim to promote a love of reading and encourage cultural dialogue among people. Visitors can even listen to the works of renowned novelist Naguib Mahfouz for free on the Iqraaly app in collaboration with Diwan Publishing.

Organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC), the ADIBF aims to showcase thousands of books, rare works, and cultural events. The growing attendance from publishers and visitors underscores Abu Dhabi’s role as a leading international cultural hub. According to Saeed Hamdan Al Tunaiji, ALC executive director, this reflects the emirate’s efforts to promote the Arabic language and culture and support intellectual and cultural exchange.

The fair offers a diverse range of new initiatives and events, including print, e-books, and audiobooks. The agenda includes cultural and professional programs, activities for children and families, and the Guest of Honour program, which this year honors Egypt. The Focus Personality for ADIBF 2024 is renowned Egyptian novelist Naguib Mahfouz. Additionally, the fair has launched the ‘Book of the World’ program, highlighting precious works that have influenced world culture.

With a focus on promoting reading and cultural exchange, the ADIBF is a must-visit event for book enthusiasts and industry professionals. Visitors can explore a wide selection of books, participate in cultural events, and take advantage of exclusive book subscription discounts. By offering free access to cultural landmarks and showcasing valuable works from around the world, the fair aims to foster a love of literature and dialogue among people. Don’t miss the chance to experience this enriching cultural event in Abu Dhabi.
