Currently, Air India operates 72 flights per week to Dubai from five Indian cities, with 32 flights originating from Delhi. The airline has a strong presence in the region and aims to further solidify its position with the introduction of the A350-900 aircraft. Air India had placed a historic order for 470 aircraft from Airbus and Boeing, with the induction of A350s into the fleet already underway. The A350-900 offers a non-stop flight time of 16-17 hours and boasts fuel efficiency by burning 25% less fuel than its predecessors. This fuel efficiency is expected to enhance Air India’s market position by reducing operating costs and offering a more environmentally friendly option for passengers. The introduction of the A350-900 on the Delhi-Dubai route is part of Air India’s strategy to modernize its fleet and offer passengers a superior flying experience.
In celebration of the commencement of flights on the Delhi-Dubai route with the A350-900 aircraft, pre-departure ceremonies were held at both Delhi and Dubai airports.
