World Art Dubai (WAD) 2024 is set to take place from May 2 to May 5 at the Za’abeel Halls 1-3 in Dubai Trade Centre, featuring over 4,000 artworks from 65 countries. Visitors can expect a diverse array of traditional and contemporary artistic expressions. Organisers aim to provide a vibrant and inclusive experience catering to various artistic tastes, with artists like Sanuj Birla, Mikhail Danilyuk, and Raihan Rajiv Vadra showcasing their unique styles.

Lydia Moawad from Lebanon and Wilhelmina Quaynor from the UK offer evocative paintings and landscapes, respectively. The fair celebrates diversity in artistic styles and mediums, featuring installations, paintings, prints, graffiti, sculptures, NFTs, digital art, and photography. There are 12 country pavilions representing different regions worldwide, providing a global perspective on art and culture.

World Art Dubai not only serves as a marketplace but also as a hub for creativity and collaboration. The event offers enriching experiences like art advisory sessions and panel discussions on integrating art in design. Urban Street Art in DXB, showcasing live DJs, fashion graffiti, skateboard customization, and more, adds a modern touch to the fair. The Future Artists event allows students to exhibit collaborative pieces under the theme “Expression of Emotions,” showcasing emerging talent and innovation.

Attendees can enjoy performances that blend art with creativity, including a ballerina creating mark-making on canvas through dance moves. Workshops provide the opportunity for guests to unleash their creativity with expert guidance and a variety of materials. The art walk, featuring art displayed on ramps, adds a dynamic element to the overall experience. The WAD Tourism Art Tour offers exhibitors a chance to explore the UAE’s art and cultural scene, fostering connections with the local creative community. World Art Dubai 2024 promises to be a vibrant and immersive experience for art enthusiasts and creatives alike.
