The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) in Bahrain conducted 1,523 inspection visits and campaigns in the span of a week, resulting in the arrest of 30 violators and the deportation of 175 individuals. These inspections focused on a variety of commercial establishments across all governorates and revealed violations related to the LMRA Law and residency regulations in Bahrain. The LMRA took legal action against these violations to ensure compliance with the law.

Aside from regular inspections, the LMRA also participated in 11 joint campaigns with the Ministry of the Interior in various governorates to eliminate illicit activities and strengthen the stability and competitiveness of the labour market. This collaborative effort aims to enhance the effectiveness of inspectional activities and address violations that impact the labour market, economic security, and social welfare. The public is encouraged to report any labour market violations or irregular employment through various channels provided by the LMRA, including their website, helpline, or the National Suggestions and Complaints System.

The LMRA’s continuous collaboration with government agencies demonstrates their commitment to upholding the law and ensuring a fair and competitive labour market in Bahrain. By working together with other authorities, the LMRA aims to tackle violations effectively and maintain a secure and stable working environment for all employees. The public’s support in reporting violations is crucial in helping the LMRA address any issues and enforce regulations to protect the rights of workers and maintain a level playing field for all businesses.

In recent inspection visits, the LMRA uncovered violations related to the Labour Market Regulatory Authority Law and residency regulations, leading to the apprehension of 30 violators and the deportation of 175 individuals. These efforts are part of the LMRA’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a compliant and fair labour market in Bahrain. By taking legal action against violators and conducting joint campaigns with other government agencies, the LMRA aims to create a safe and competitive environment for businesses and employees alike.

The LMRA’s emphasis on collaboration with other government entities highlights the importance of a coordinated approach to addressing labour market violations and ensuring compliance with the law. Through joint campaigns and inspection visits, the LMRA and its partners work together to identify and address issues that threaten the stability and competitiveness of the labour market. By reporting violations and irregular employment, the public can assist the LMRA in enforcing regulations and protecting the rights of workers in Bahrain.

In conclusion, the LMRA’s recent inspection visits and joint campaigns with government agencies underscore its dedication to maintaining a compliant and competitive labour market in Bahrain. By working collaboratively and encouraging the public to report violations, the LMRA strives to address issues promptly and enforce regulations to protect workers’ rights and promote a fair working environment for all. With ongoing efforts and vigilance, the LMRA continues to uphold the law and safeguard the integrity of the labour market for the benefit of businesses and employees in Bahrain.
