Russian startup founder, Ivan Koroteev, fell in love with the UAE during his visit in November 2023. His love for Abu Dhabi inspired him to create a music album, “A Symphony of Cultures”, with 22 songs in 15 languages that pay tribute to the emirate. Each song praises a different aspect of Abu Dhabi which had a profound impact on Ivan. What sets this album apart is that all the songs were composed and sung with the help of artificial intelligence (AI) using services like Suno and Udio. Ivan used AI to create lyrics, select music styles, and prepare the songs for release.

Ivan’s deep admiration for Abu Dhabi stems from his experience exploring the city’s attractions with his wife Nataly. Visiting places like Sea World Yas Island, Corniche beach, Emirates Palace, Louvre Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, and the tomb of Sheikh Zayed left him overwhelmed with feelings of gratitude and appreciation. Ivan, who currently lives in Russia, plans to shift his base to the UAE soon. He goes by the music pseudonym Vano Karade, a name he created that is easy to pronounce and reflects his original name. He also prefers to be called Aivan now, aligning with his work with AI tools.

Growing up in Moscow, Ivan’s interest in computers and technology started at a young age. He got his first computer at 12 and transitioned from books to digital screens, exploring games and programming. Alongside his tech interests, music remained a passion for Ivan, as he listened to bands like Led Zeppelin, Nightwish, The Beatles, Metallica, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers. His journey into AI began with using tools like ChatGPT and Google Vision AI for various projects, leading him to deliver public talks on AI and finally create music with AI.

Ivan believes that while AI offers limitless possibilities, human creativity is irreplaceable as it shapes the direction AI takes. AI works on probabilities and patterns, while human creativity is driven by emotions, experiences, and abstract thinking which AI cannot replicate. AI can generate content efficiently, but the true essence of creativity lies in human capabilities. Even with the advancements in AI, the blend of human creativity and technological innovation is essential for groundbreaking achievements. Ivan’s exploration of AI and creativity through his music album stands as a testament to this blend of human ingenuity and AI technology.
