The Tender Board in Bahrain recently opened 12 government tenders for various entities, showcasing the opportunities available for companies to participate in projects across different sectors. One of the tenders that were opened was for a Groundwater Survey in Bahrain, with three companies competing for the opportunity to conduct a comprehensive survey of groundwater wells in the country. Coastline and Tree of Valves submitted the lowest bids, amounting to 573,390 Bahraini dinars. The tender requires updating data and attaching technical data for the wells to the Local Agricultural Production Management Programme at the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, in line with the tender documents.

Another tender that was opened was for the development of Al Wafa Park by the Southern Municipality. Eight companies participated in this tender, with New Castle Contraction submitting the lowest bid of 30,140 Bahraini dinars. On the other hand, Kadhem Al Durazi submitted the highest bid of 71,893 Bahraini Dinars. This project presents an opportunity for companies to take part in the enhancement of public parks in Bahrain, contributing to the overall beautification and development of the country.

Furthermore, a tender was issued by Bahrain Airport Company for market research on passengers at Bahrain International Airport. Eight companies competed for this opportunity, with The Engineering Union, Khatib & Alami putting forward the lowest bid of 151,680 Bahraini dinars. The focus of this project is to gather data on passenger profiles, consumer purchasing behavior, satisfaction levels, and service development at the airport. This tender presents an opportunity for companies to provide valuable insights to enhance the overall passenger experience at the airport.

Additionally, a tender for construction works in Al Qarya Park – Block 551 was issued by the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture. Six companies participated in this tender, with New Castle Construction submitting the lowest bid of 169,000 Bahraini dinars. This project offers an opportunity for construction companies to contribute to the development of public infrastructure and recreational spaces in Bahrain, enriching the lives of residents and visitors alike.

Overall, the opening of these government tenders by the Tender Board in Bahrain signifies the ongoing commitment to transparency and fair competition in government tendering and bidding practices. Companies interested in participating in government projects and initiatives across various sectors have the opportunity to showcase their capabilities and expertise through these tenders. By actively engaging in these opportunities, companies can not only contribute to the development and enhancement of public infrastructure and services in Bahrain but also benefit from potential business growth and partnerships in the thriving local market.
